As an expert in martial arts and weapons, Anthony De Longis has the unique skills to extend the actor's ability to tell and sell a story. After all, would Michelle Pfeiffer's Catwoman in BATMAN RETURNS been nearly as sexy and dangerous without De Longis's whip training and choreography?

Off camera, De Longis has occupied the staff position of fight director for the Los Angeles Music Center Opera since 1985. He is Swordmaster / Stunt Coordinator for episodes 1-6 of THE QUEEN OF SWORDS. He taught Fencing, Stage Combat and Character Movement at UCLA's Theater Arts Department from 1974 to 1993, and he directed fights for the Old Globe Theater in San Diego and the Ahmanson Theater in Los Angeles. In 1991, De Longis was honored with a Dramalogue Award for his choreography in the Mark Taper Forum's production of Julius Caesar.
Universal Studios called on De Longis to be choreographer and Fight Director for their studio tour's CONAN SWORD SPECTACULAR from 1990 to 1993. He continues to train performers for the WILD WILD WEST and WATERWORLD live action entertainments.
